Male elk playing in the mud...

The cutest weasel I've ever seen!

Wood bison

Moose

Meet Nelson and Gilly (baby moose)

Kodiak bear cubs

Black bear

Brown bear

Porcupine...don't you just want to hug him?

Salmon in Alaska

Quick bite to eat at Moose's Tooth Pub and Pizzeria.
Southwestern Taco Pizza...best pizza I've ever eaten! I couldn't resist...I had to eat a piece before taking this picture.

Left to right: Anniversary Ale, Hard Apple Ale, Change de Garde, Polar Pale Ale
Moonflower ESB, Pipeline Stout, Prince William's Porter, Moose's Tooth Hefeweizen

...and for dessert we have a peanut butter cheesecake

Turnagain Arm of Cook Inlet
One of the most beautiful stretches of highway in America. Starting in Anchorage, this two lane road offers breathtaking views of the coast line and the Chugach mountains.

Mile 117: Potter Marsh

It's a bird, it's a plane...no, it's just a porcupine in a tree

Mile 110: Beluga Point
On our way to the airport, we spotted as few belugas!

Mile 106: Windy Point (Yes, it was very windy here!)

Mile 102: Bird Creek

Mile 90: Girdwood
Halibut chowder from Chair Five in Girdwood

Bake Shop
Known for the sourdough bread and cinnamon rolls

Mile 79: End of the Cook Inlet, turnoff to Portage

Thanks Alaska! See you soon!
XO, L + J
