First Family Road Trip to Monterey

To celebrate my birthday, we decided to take a family road trip up to Monterey. Cody loves reading about fishes, whales and sharks so Jason and I thought it would be fun to take him to the aquarium. It is so beautiful up there and we definitely want to go back. There was so much wildlife just hanging out right in the bay!

The crazy things you see on a road trip! Nice cabbages!

Can you spot the cutest little guy in there? (Hint: It's not a fish!)

Open Sea Tank
Definitely one of the highlights of the aquarium!

Look who we saw at the aquarium!

We spent a day and a half at the aquarium, but I think we actually could have stayed longer. There is so much to enjoy and see. The fish, sharks, and turtles are always doing something amazing.

They just opened the new sea otter exhibit a week before we visited so the otters were still getting used to their new home. Sea Otter live web cam:

We’ll miss you Monterey! Until next time!
